[Public] NaNoWriMo 2009

Looks like I'm doing NaNo after all. This is mostly due to a particularly boring class I had today, during which I ended up picking up that idea I had, poking at it and writing it up while the poor (boring) instructor was lecturing away.

Hm. We'll see how it goes - mainly, I'm just using this as a spur to keep writing my original fiction. It's going to be, I think, a historical novel, set in France to start with but moving across spaces. I'm interesting myself in patterns that repeat themselves from one generation to another, so I'll be writing three generations of women within the same family.

The working title is Generations.

I have no idea if I'll have time to make the 50K within one month with my current commitments, but I want to try - this project is making sense in my head, more than it ever has. I even have an outline. And I've been wanting to write this thing for years.

I'm putting things up as I go over at tomboy_typist. It's all f-locked, but it's possible to friend me with OpenID if you don't have a DW account. If you do, well then, I'll friend you right back, provided that I know who you are. I'm writing this with the hope that this might eventually be publishable material, so.... Because of the nature of what's on here, I want to keep access lists mutual.
